We’re Headed to the Loggers’ Expo in Bangor – Come See Us May 16–17!

We’re pumped to let you know that Frank Martin Sons, Inc. will be at the 2025 Northeastern Loggers’ Expo next week, and we’d love to see you there!

The show runs Friday and Saturday, May 16–17, at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, and it’s packed with awesome equipment, exciting competitions, and fun for the whole family.

Climb Inside the Big Machines

Ever wondered what it feels like to sit in a feller buncher or skidder? Now’s your chance! Stop by our booth and get up close with some of the most powerful forestry and construction equipment around. And if you’re up for a challenge, give the Tigercat simulator a try—it’s a blast for all ages.

Live Demos & Friendly Competition

There’s a lot happening at this year’s Expo, including some friendly head-to-head action:

  • Log Loading Contest – Watch skilled operators show off their speed and precision under pressure.

  • Forwarder Obstacle Course – It’s all about accuracy and control as drivers weave through a tricky course.

These events are not only fun to watch—they help raise money for Log A Load For Kids, too.

Don’t Miss the Axe Women Loggers of Maine

This crew always draws a crowd, and for good reason. The Axe Women Loggers of Maine are back with their high-energy show featuring axe throwing, log rolling, sawing, and more. It’s a great mix of power, skill, and fun—and perfect for families with kids.

Want to Learn Something New?

There’ll be a couple of great seminars on Friday as well:

  • At 10 AM, economist Eric Kingsley talks about why there’s reason to be optimistic about the forest industry in the Northeast.

  • At 1 PM, David Wine shares smart tips on hydraulics, lubricants, and equipment safety.

Each session is just $10, and all proceeds go to Log A Load For Kids.
